The Bearded Lady of Geneva
Madame Clofullia was born named Josephine Boisdechene in Switzerland. She was born hairy had a two-inch beard at the age of eight. At the age of fourteen she began to tour Europe, with her father and an agent at first and then with only her father. In Paris she met Fortune Clofullia and eventually married him. She also gained much fame when she made her beard look like Napoleon III's. In return, Napoleon gave her a very large diamond.

Chang and Eng Bunker
The Bunker brothers were born on May 11, 1811 in Siam (now Thailand),, they were known as the "Chinese Twins" in Siam. They were joined at the sternum by a small piece of cartilage. Their livers were fused but independently complete. If the werent born in the 19th century they could have easliy have been separated.
In 1829, they were "discovered" in Siam by British merchant Robert Hunter and exhibited as a curiosity during a world tour. Upon termination of their contract with their discoverer, they successfully went into business for themselves. In 1839, while visiting Wilkesboro, North Carolina, the twins were attracted to the area and settled on a 110-acre (0.45 km2) farm in nearby Traphill, becoming naturalized United States citizens.
